College?

It's been 2 long months since SPM.

I've been wasting time, doing nothing productive.

All I think of is getting a driver's license.

Been to several education fairs the past 2 months,

but still indecisive of what i want.

In the end, I took my brother's advice

to do pre-university at Sunway University College.

Decided to register for college today since daddy is on leave.

Sunway University College.

The pre-university programme that I will be taking is CIMP.
According to my brother, CIMP is the easiest pre-university
programme as it's assessment will be
70% coursework and 30% final examinations.
Always taking the easy way out =D

CIMP (Canadian International Matriculation Programme).

During the registration process,
many thoughts came into my mind.
I was excited about going to college in the beginning,
but all of a sudden,
I started to feel the fear of going to college alone,
new environment, new friends, everything new.
Sigh, am I ready for college?
I really don't know.
I'm scared =(

Happy Moo Moo Year =)

The first day of Chinese New Year!

Today is a time when families visit the oldest

and most senior members of their extended family,

usually their parents, grandparents or great-grandparents.

Members of the family who are married also give red packets

containing cash to junior members of the family,

mostly children and teenagers.

I AM ONE OF THEM! haha
Daddy was the first person who gave me a red packet,

and i'm very happy that he prepared one for dear too! XD

We had grandma's home cooked food for lunch.

Let me introduce you to my cousin sister.
Her name is Ashley.
Very adorable little girl but...

She's putting my precious watch in her mouth =(

Later at night, we visited daddy's friend's house.
All the uncles & aunties gather together,
talked and drinked till midnight.
The kids were playing texas poker, gambling actually,
me and my brother just sat there and watch,
we don't know how to play laaa.
Oh and we lost 10 bucks just for fun. Haha

CNY Reunion Dinner

Today is Chinese New Year's Eve.

The biggest event of any Chinese New Year's Eve is the dinner every family will have.

We had our reunion dinner at MPV Seafood Restaurant, Cheras.

Another restaurant nearby grandma's house, very convenient for us.

Here comes the food...

Always the first dish, the salmon yee sang.

Shark's fin soup.

Tiger prawns.

Suckling pig.

My uncle loves this dish.
He even ate the piglet's head.
Watching him eat makes me feel so guilty,
all the fats OMG.

Steamed fish.

Sea cucumber, mushroom and so called abalone. LOL

Glutinous rice with waxed meat.

Fried noodles.

No idea what is this.
Some jelly with coffee flavoured filling.

Mini char siew pau.

I find this mini char siew pau very interesting.
So cute! HAHA

The dinner was okay but not worth the price.
I heard it costs more than 1k.
So expensive hor? Luckily only once a year.

Foong Jie Lok Lok

Daddy and I visited grandma and family after dinner.

Dinner at home was bad,

so we decided to have lok lok for supper.

We headed to Foong Jie Lok Lok in Yulek, Cheras.

It's just few minutes away from grandma's house.

Foong Jie Lok Lok.

For deep frying.

For steamboat.

Quite fresh, but the oil for deep frying looks terrible.
Oh, and they have tables with the steamboat thingy in the middle.
A good place for light supper.
